Create Alert Job Title: Maintenance Technician Repairs and maintains building systems, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines by performing the following duties: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts. Examines parts to detect imperfections and assesses used parts for dimensional changes. Adjusts, lubricates, and cleans functional parts of devices. Repairs or replaces defective parts, installs special functional and structural parts, and tests device performance. Uses welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools for repairs throughout the facility. Performs general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance. Initiates material order requests for parts and machines; repairs minor electrical issues under supervision. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications to Thrive in This Role

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipes is preferred.
