The Master Line Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to you. We have the latest Hunter equipment throughout the shop and service areas, with all manufacturer tools organized and catalogued for ease of use. As part of your compensation, you are eligible for a sign-on bonus via immediate contribution to a long-term compensation savings account. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Job Expectations: Perform full repairs of vehicle components. Diagnose and repair emissions systems using shop diagnostic equipment. Repair and rebuild powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and rear ends. Understand and repair vehicle suspension, brake, ABS, and related electrical systems. Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including airbags and wiring harnesses. Diagnose and repair A/C systems, including recovery and recharge procedures. Read and understand wiring diagrams; operate shop equipment such as A/C machines, brake lathes, and alignment machines. Work efficiently to repair vehicles within the allotted time, ensuring quality work. Work schedule includes being closed on Sundays. Trained Service Advisors and BDC Representatives support the team. Fair job dispatching; a growing customer pay RO count and flat rate hours indicate a busy shop. Maintain a well-stocked parts inventory over $2M. Minimum Qualifications: ASE Certification preferred. Ability to read and comprehend technical documents. High School Diploma required. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with acceptable record. Must pass background and drug screening.
