ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
Document treatment sessions accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
Assist in creating and instructing home exercise programs.
Monitor patient response to interventions and report changes to the supervising PT.
Educate patients on proper technique, safety, and progression of exercises.
Support clinic operations by coordinating with aides, administrative staff, and therapists.
Maintain cleanliness of treatment spaces and equipment per clinic procedure.
Provide feedback to therapists about patient progress and any concerns.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience or ATC experience
Prior work with EMR systems and familiarity with insurance documentation preferred
SCHEDULE:
Clinic hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Individual shifts are typically 8 hours.
Occasional Travel between clinics as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required by start date)
Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers
Strong written and verbal communication
Able to relay clear and detailed clinical observations
Able to take initiative and perform tasks with minimal supervision
Effective time management and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
HIPAA compliant
Motivated, punctual, and dependable
Proficient in basic PC software and EMR documentation
Team-oriented with a strong desire for professional growth
Commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care
The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 80,000 USD per year (NES - Cedar Mill)
