In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits

This position does not require you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Assemble equipment such as tourniquets, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures. Perform other responsibilities as required and work with and draw from a wide range of patient cases in a confident manner. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Verify or record identity of patient or donor and communicate with patient or donor. Maintain refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Comply with legal phlebotomy regulations; handle urine analysis, blood testing; perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures. Travel to additional sites when needed. Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred. Previous experience as a phlebotomist Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
