We're Hiring: Per Diem Occupational Therapist
Location: Plainsboro NJ Bancroft Outpatient Program
Type: Non Exempt, PRN
Hourly Rate: $58/hr
Position Summary:
Provides direct, consultative, and supportive diagnostic and therapeutic services in occupational therapy to persons served and staff members to enhance learning potential and meet rehabilitation needs. Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities: Provides direct and consultative occupational therapy services, including assessments and treatments, in accordance with regulations, standards, and guidelines defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), NBCOT, HIPAA, DDD, the Individual Program Plan (IPP), and Bancroft policies. Conducts diagnostic assessments and develops treatment plans based on team requests: Determines the need for therapeutic intervention; Reviews records, administers tests, interprets results, and provides recommendations; Assesses daily living activities within the residential setting; Develops and modifies treatment plans based on assessments; Sets achievable, functional, measurable goals for rehabilitation. Provides treatment services: Utilizes available information effectively; Assists in goal development and adaptive equipment design; Delivers individual, group, and integrated therapy sessions; Encourages independence and achievement of goals; Schedules sessions based on individual needs; Recommends techniques, materials, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications; Demonstrates proper use of equipment and strategies; Maintains professional documentation and reports; Provides training to staff and persons served on therapy implementation. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, registration with NBCOT, and NJ state licensure required.
