Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Powerback delivers physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies to improve lives across skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. Powerback has a Clinical Mentorship Program for new grads and continuing education opportunities, including free CEUs through Medbridge. Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reports to Director of Rehab Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments to patients Address the whole patient as an individual, executing programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence Collaborate with peers and refer patients as needed to ensure they receive appropriate care Provide patient- and family-centered care with compassion and high-quality service Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards Initial certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice Benefits
