Overview
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well-established, collaborative team serving Plant City, FL.
Position Highlights
Primary Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City – a brand-new, state-of-the-art Level II NICU opened in Spring 2024
Additional Opportunities: Rotate through the 76-bed Level IV NICU at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa
Schedule: 10 shifts/month, including 16-hour night shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts
Coverage Model: 24/7 in-house delivery room and newborn care across BayCare hospitals
Team-Based Approach: Night coverage provided by a neonatologist or NNP; normal newborn care supported by both neonatologists and pediatricians
Collaborative Team: 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists, and 14 NNPs serving Hillsborough and Pinellas counties

Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
Minimum of a master’s degree
