Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

for a travel assignment in Corsicana, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and preferably Nursery care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and recovery process.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and safe care to mothers and infants during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and assist physicians during deliveries.

Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in Centricity EMR.

Requirements

Licensure: Active RN License (Texas or Compact).

Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

Required: L&D and Postpartum

Preferred: Nursery

EMR: Experience with Centricity.

Travel Distance: Must reside 50+ miles from the facility.

Assignment Details

Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 3 shifts per week.

Schedule: Rotating Sundays through Saturdays.

Duration: 13 Weeks.

Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit.
