Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 (based on experience)
Relocation allowance available
Health insurance – employer pays 91% (only $47 per pay period)
Dental and vision insurance included
Life insurance provided at 3x your annual salary
Short-term and long-term disability coverage included
Retirement plan funded at 8.5% to start, increasing up to 14.5% over time
Paid Time Off: 26 days in the first year, increasing up to 44 days
Ability to sell back PTO at 100% value
No nights, no weekends, no on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities
Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Supervise a team of six doctoral-level psychology students, offering guidance and feedback
Provide second opinions for clients requiring transfer to the state hospital
Deliver 1-32 (Baker Act) second opinions and court testimony on involuntary hospitalization cases
Coordinate, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and assessments
Provide individual and group therapy sessions as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team on treatment planning and evaluations
Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation
Uphold ethical and clinical standards in all aspects of care
Requirements
Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
Clear and active Florida psychologist license (or license‑eligible)
At least 1 year of post‑graduate clinical experience (inpatient psychiatric preferred)
Expertise in psychological assessment and interpretation
Proven experience supervising psychology students or trainees
Strong communication and leadership skills
Committed to professional growth, collaboration, and clinical excellence
