The Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is conducting a national search to identify an adolescent medicine faculty member to join their growing Division. BE/BC adolescent medicine candidates are welcomed at any academic rank with opportunities to launch or bolster their academic careers. Located in Albuquerque, we serve an ethnically diverse population of youth. This faculty position includes opportunities for expanding adolescent medical services, quality improvement, research, and educational efforts at the principal referral medical center for New Mexico. This position is ideal for candidates with an appreciation of the multicultural nature of NM's population.

This is a one full time (1.0) FTE faculty position. Salary, rank, and track will be commensurate with training and experience. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Must have an MD, DO, or equivalent by time of hire. Able to obtain Medical License in the state of New Mexico. BC/BE in Adolescent Medicine by time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with reproductive health including placement and removal of LARC devices. Experience in clinical outpatient medicine - including school-based health centers. Experience in statewide teaching and outreach. Experience in research relevant to program focus areas. Public health experience or Master's in Public Health. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
