As a Client Service Representative (CSR), you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing care for our patients while coordinating and representing all facets of client services. Our CSRs are friendly, professional, courteous, and show urgency and appropriate concern at all times. They must be efficient in handling difficult situations and skilled in basic accounting and cash handling. Responsibilities
Help strengthen relationships with clients by greeting them and their pets and assisting new clients with registration and informing them of expected wait times. Educate clients and answer non-medical inquiries. Maintain client relationships and service standards by responding to phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls as needed; monitor email and faxes. Schedule appointments, including in-office diagnostics, and communicate with referring hospital staff to access patient records. Create appointment reminders and reschedule missed appointments. Maintain computer records with up-to-date client and patient data; verify each patient entering the hospital. Keep front desk, reception area, waiting areas, and exam rooms neat and clean. Ensure financial responsibilities are met; review charges for services upon completion or discharge and reconcile cash drawer with computer-generated reporting. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Experience & Skills
Friendly and outgoing with a love for both pets and people; great attitude and a positive demeanor. Client service experience and 1 year in veterinary medicine are highly preferred. Strong communication skills; team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and support others. Outstanding multi-tasking abilities. Availability to work rotating weekends and certain holidays. Desire to practice empathetic, gold-standard medicine benefiting patients. Positive, kind, and trustworthy communication with patients, team members, and clients.
