Responsibilities

Operates and performs adjustments to laboratory equipment and instruments.

Formulate, tests, and release all Control System materials for Centaur and Atellica assays produced in Walpole Manufacturing Facility.

Maintain cGMP compliance and adherence to site SOPs; track and maintain raw material inventory, testing supplies, and operating supplies within the Standards Manufacturing Laboratory.

Handle all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials; must pass a DEA background check.

Manufacture Siemens Control System materials using established manufacturing protocols and procedures.

Run in-process testing on Control System materials using established Quality Control protocols.

Demonstrate proficiency in running and maintaining testing equipment within the Standards Manufacturing Lab.

Generate manufacturing documentation including Manufacturing Batch Records, Bills of Materials, Routings, Process Documents and SOPs.

Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities within the Healthineers Performance System (HPS) framework.

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

May be asked to temporarily assume higher level responsibilities with direct support from the Senior Supervisor of Manufacturing.

Qualifications

Required Education: BS/BA in a related discipline, or AS/AA with a focus on the sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

0-2 years’ experience in a similar role in the medical diagnostic/medical device industry.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Excellent laboratory technique; high attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work individually and in a team setting.

Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check.

Preferred

Working knowledge of cGMP requirements.

Experience manufacturing automated immunoassays, ELISA, or chemiluminescent products.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SAP or similar MRP/ERP system.

Compensation and Benefits Annual base pay range: Min $44,700 – Max $67,100. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, paid time off, and other eligible programs.
