What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide individual, group, family, and other counseling services tailored to client needs
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments in accordance with state standards
Develop and document treatment plans based on client assessments and diagnoses
Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings to discuss pertinent cases
Handle crisis situations effectively and coordinate emergency services as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Holds licensure as a professional counselor or social worker in the applicable state
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required
Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as necessary
Comfort and willingness to provide telehealth services to clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders
Strong knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods
Ability to develop and evaluate mental health services within assigned programs
Familiarity with legal requirements and court procedures related to mental health treatment
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and documentation
