CV Radiology Technologist – Advocate Health Care, Bloomingdale, IL.
Base Pay Range $37.50/hr – $56.25/hr
Sign‑On Bonus $10,000 sign‑on bonus eligible.

Position Requirements (New RT Graduates)
Clinical rotation completed at LGH Cardiac Cath Lab
Solid academic standing
Demonstrated desire to learn, self‑motivated and self‑directed
Letter of recommendation from instructor
Must take RT Boards (Registry Exam) within 6 months of graduation to continue employment in Interventional Radiology
Will start at base salary entry level of this position range
Position Requirements (Experienced RT)
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
Minimum 3 years interventional experience
Intermediate computer skills, film‑processing skills, hemodynamic interpretation skills, basic patient assessment skills, IV therapy skills
Knowledge of radiographic imaging and radiation safety
Current RT license in Illinois and current AART registry
BCLS certification
Ability to work staggered 8–10 hour shifts
Ability to take call
Ability to work under stressful conditions and difficult situations
Exposure to blood and body fluids, exposure to radiation
Ability to assist patients in transfer; perform lifting, pulling, pushing related to patient positioning/transfer and stocking supplies. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance; patient handling equipment to be used for lifts over 35 pounds.
Purpose Provide technical assistance to physicians and care of patients during all phases of cardiac catheterization diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures, while supporting patient dynamics, serving as preceptor and resource on new interventional devices.
Accountabilities
Deliver competent, proficient technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, following procedural standards and protocols.
Provide patient care tailored to procedural requirements and patient needs under supervision.
Support organizational changes consistent with goals.
Provide support and education to patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Pursue professional growth, self‑development, and skill enhancement.
