Overview We are seeking a highly-trained Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing pelvic health disorders and a general outpatient caseload. Preferred experience includes pelvic health conditions such as colorectal dysfunction/dyssynergic defecation, obstetric/postpartum difficulties, overactive bladder, dyspareunia, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, post-radiation recovery, and urinary or fecal incontinence in both males and females. Candidates may be APTA Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialists or have completed APTA Pelvic Health courses (Level 1-3), as well as pregnancy and postpartum courses.

Qualifications

Age of Patients Served:

All Age Groups

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Necessary Skills:

Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices, and equipment

Good communication skills and a proactive, positive approach to problem solving

Thorough knowledge of hazards, precautions, and remedial measures in patient care

Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for various diagnoses

Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite

Required Licensure/Certifications:

Current Florida Physical Therapy license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience:

Hospital-based rehabilitation services

Preferred Education:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Required Experience:

Less than one year of clinical experience in the relevant area (e.g., acute, outpatient)
