The University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a pediatric pulmonologist. The appointment rank is open and may be either tenure track or clinical (non-tenure), based on experience and research interests. The role involves providing patient care, teaching, and consultative services within the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. About the Division:
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine is dedicated to outstanding clinical care, education, and biomedical research. Services are provided in outpatient and hospital settings, recognized regionally and nationally for expertise. About the College and Department:
The Carver College of Medicine is ranked 44th in research by U.S. News & World Report. The Department of Pediatrics is ranked 24th in NIH funding among public pediatric departments. Facilities and Recognition:
Home to Iowa's only nationally ranked children's hospital, with the only Level 4 NICU and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the state. The pediatric residency trains 50 residents. The hospital is ranked in nine pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report. Community and Culture:
