EMT or Paramedic - PRN role at Haxtun Health. If you\'re an EMT or paramedic looking for flexible, PRN-only work, Haxtun Health Ambulance might be the perfect fit. Coverage is on an as-needed basis rather than regularly scheduled shifts. Responsibilities
As an EMT or paramedic, you\'ll provide immediate, high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients. This includes responding to emergency calls and inter-facility transfers, following Haxtun Ambulance EMS Protocols and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment guidelines. How it works
Weekday coverage is handled by the first available responders who can answer the call. Weekend coverage is provided by two on-call responders from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. On-call hourly pay is provided during this period. In addition to on-call pay, you\'ll earn commission based on a per-trip basis for every call you take. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent Current Colorado EMT certification (Basic, Advanced, Intermediate, Paramedic) Possess and maintain all required certificates for the EMT level (ACLS, PALS, etc.) CPR certification for healthcare Valid Colorado Driver\'s License Possess or obtain ICS 100 & 700 for NIMS compliance Additional information
