In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our sales team have their sales tools from production to completion, reporting to the Production Manager and based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, NJ (hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days from home).
Sales Tool Buying, Planning and Forecasting
Oversee the process of sales tool inventory management of buying, planning and forecasting specific to tipcards, Binders, Boxes, Colorway Posters and Showroom Wings
Monitor inventory levels at headquarters of our sales tools and maintaining a 95% fill rate at all times
Coordinate Product Lifecyle updates with Product Data and Product Strategy to align with Sales Tool Buying, Planning and Forecasting process
Incorporate Sales and Growth Strategies into Sales Tool forecasting models
Collaborate with the appropriate departments on proposals, weekly reporting, and invoicing
Set clear expectations on deliveries and distribution with Production, Marketing and Sales
Sales Tool Production
Oversee the process of sales tool rerun production interdepartmentally, PD, Design Logistics, Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, Sample Logistics
Manage the Quarterly Tipcard Rerun meeting outputs and production steps
Review, edit and approve all pdf and color proofs on reruns
Request changes within salestool BOM’s for accurate consumption in NAV
Manage the Inventory confirmation & receipt processing of sales tools between vendors and Onsite
Request and follow up on all PO Allocation to Transfer Orders
Sales Tool Data Management
Analyze sales tool data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks
Utilize forecasting tools like Power BI and DP to track and analyze sales tools data, providing actionable insights
Develop and track key performance indicators related to sales tools usage and efficiencies, providing regular reporting to management
Communicating the rationale behind forecast adjustments and their potential impact on business performance
Project Management
Evaluate existing forecasting processes and methodologies for sales tools to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
Research industry best practices and emerging trends in sales tools forecasting and planning
Obtain feedback from sales, marketing, and product data teams to gather input on forecast performance and make necessary adjustments
Meet quarterly with Procurement Manager to review company’s forecasting practices, evaluate how they perform against industry standards and identify opportunities to improve
Qualifications
Production and printing experience
Prior experience with planning and forecasting
Expertise with Excel, including pivoting, vlookups, graphs, and moderate-advanced formulas
Prior experience with ERP, preferably Navision
Fluency in inventory fulfillment of products and sales tools
Experience with cross-departmental relationships and collaboration
Analytical mindset
Understanding of core business concepts like production, logistics, reporting
Project management experience a plus
Basic understanding of logistics and quality inspections
Interior Design industry experience a plus
