Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care with assessment and treatment under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Director.
Apply professional judgment, discretion, and skill in patient management.
Responsibilities for assigned patients include evaluation, treatment planning, patient treatment, and documentation of care.
Work with patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatrics; assignments depend on experience, training, and demonstrated competence.
Develop clinical skills with ultimate responsibility for clinical competency.
Support the organization’s vision and values and work toward high customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner with respect and dignity.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an SLP in health care services is highly desirable.
Current licensure in the state of California. Recent graduates who are board eligible will be considered for provisional appointments.
Must maintain current BLS and Fire Safety cards.
Where You'll Work California Hospital Medical Center, founded in 1887, is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. The hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, heart care, women’s health, and a family birth center.
Pay $47.31 - $70.38 /hour
