Hours: Mon-Wed 8-5

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative dental procedures, fillings, crowns, root canals, implants, and dentures.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Collect and record patient health histories.
Provide patients with postoperative instructions and oral hygiene advice.
Neatly setup and breakdown of operatories before and after treatment.
Perform infection control and sterilization procedures.
Manage dental office emergencies.
Handle tasks related to both analog and digital impressions and digital scanning including Cerec scanning/design.
Provide support with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing records, and billing.
Ensure all care is delivered with respect to each patient’s privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant desired - but new assistants welcome to apply.
Proficiency in dental office software, ideally Eaglesoft or Dentrix desired.
Strong ability to handle dental instruments and operate dental machinery accurately desired.
Experience performing digital X-rays and familiarity with digital imaging desired.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
A proactive and efficient approach to work.
Commitment to adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
