NICU RN Job Details – Marquette, MI
Location: Marquette, MI 49855 (Michigan travel nursing jobs) Facility: 225-bed specialty care hospital featuring advanced services: Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00-07:00) Weekly Hours: 36 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/07/2025 – End: 12/07/2025) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2070
NICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette, MI to qualify for travel nurse status
NICU RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to neonates in the NICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support families throughout the neonatal care process Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment for patients and staff Participate in ongoing clinical training and orientation as required
