As the Materials & Process (M&P) Engineer – Polymers, you will support composite development tasks related to new material formulation, process development, and technology innovation. Your responsibilities include developing polymer materials from formulation to production, working independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects, and communicating project progress effectively. What YOU Will Do

Support R&D for next-generation composite materials, processes, and equipment. Apply materials science knowledge to develop, characterize, and test new materials and systems. Develop novel polymer systems from formulation through production. Utilize characterization techniques to develop screening tools. Support development of engineering processes and tools. Participate in R&D environment for new materials and manufacturing processes. Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% as needed. What YOU Must Bring To Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Polymer, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university. Knowledge of polymer structures, properties, and testing techniques (e.g., FTIR, DSC, DMA, Rheology). 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience. Technical expertise in adhesives, composites, metallics, polymers/elastomers, or high-temperature materials. Familiarity with 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, etc.) and lab equipment. Experience with statistical software (Minitab, JMP, etc.). Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize independently. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Desired Characteristics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Aerospace materials processing and testing experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office.
