Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
Lead project teams including superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Conduct quality control inspections and manage punch lists.
Maintain accurate project documentation: contracts, change orders, RFIs, daily reports, and track project costs with financial reports for leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
OSHA certification and PMP or CCM credentials are a plus.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year.
