Position Overview We are seeking a skilled
Heavy Equipment Operator / Pipefitter
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands‑on work, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in precision and safety. You will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, performing pipe installations and repairs, and ensuring each project meets our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trenchers
Install, repair, and maintain underground piping systems
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
Perform trenching, grading, and backfilling operations
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance
Qualifications
Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator and/or pipefitter
Valid driver’s license (CDL, but not required)
OSHA safety training a plus
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills
