About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of road infrastructure.

Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for road maintenance and operations

Analyze and optimize existing mechanical systems to improve efficiency and performance

Conduct regular inspections of road maintenance equipment and machinery

Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components in road infrastructure projects

Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical systems

Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues in road operations

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in road maintenance and operations

Ensure compliance with local road standards and regulations in Qatar

Participate in project planning and execution, providing mechanical engineering expertise

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in road operations and maintenance

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)

Strong knowledge of road maintenance equipment and machinery

In-depth understanding of mechanical systems related to road infrastructure

Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Familiarity with infrastructure asset management principles

Knowledge of local road standards and regulations in Qatar

Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
