We have an immediate need for a Mechanical Assembler at our Maple Grove corporate Headquarters.
The position is scheduled to be contract to hire. The shift will be Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 3:30 pm and Friday 6 am - 10 am. The pay rate will be in the $25 - $27/hr. range.
Overview This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Duties include
Assemble mechanical parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform functional tests on assembled products.
Document production and quality control data as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
2-3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach.
Frequently lift and move parts or assemblies up to 50 lbs.
Use of hands to handle or operate tools, equipment, or parts.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.
