Job responsibilities
Design and plan in accordance with applicable design specifications. Projects may include various bridge types such as steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder and reinforced concrete slab structures. Conduct structural analysis to ensure the strength and safety of highway structures. Prepare structural designs and contract documents including drawings, specifications, and estimates. Participate in preparing project budgets and schedules. Perform calculations for designing bridges and transportation structures using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software. Qualifications
A copy of transcripts must be submitted with resume. Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural major or emphasis. Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with co-workers and clients, both in verbal and written form. Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete is preferred. Knowledge of layout and design of bridges and highway structures is preferred. Why join Egis?
