Overview
THE ROLE: The 2nd shift Industrial Automation Technician will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation tasks on production equipment and machinery. This position requires demonstration of competency for all activities that either directly or indirectly affect product safety and quality. The individual will work onsite at our state of the art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC. Starting hourly rate is $30.27-$36.27/Hour plus bonus potential and a variety of benefits offered to eligible employees in the US. What You Would Contribute
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Actively perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment Quickly respond to and correct equipment issues Advanced knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, ladder logic (minor code changes), and related controls Troubleshoot, repair, and replace VFDs, servos, camera/vision systems, on-line production printers, motors, robots, and other machine control devices Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings Proactively look for equipment trends, root causes & variances. Develop action plans for and implement improvements Troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systems Develop projects and process improvement initiatives Cross-train Maintenance team on skills as appropriate Positive demeanor, willingness, and desire to learn as well as to work in a team environment Basic use of power tools and hand tools Additional duties as assigned Team and Culture

Advanced electrical controls skills Mechanical skills Ability to operate motorized lifts (e.g., forklift, scissor lift, one-man lift, etc.). An MVR will determine eligibility to operate these lifts. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Experience
8+ years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Automation/Electronics or Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics FDA or other regulatory experience 5+ years of work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment Food manufacturing or packaging experience, and/or blending equipment, batching operation systems Physical Demands
