Quality Engineer 3 (Module Breakpoint Coordinator) Duration:

11 to 12 months position (May go Longer) Daily Schedule/Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4 days and 10 hours daily. First shift:

6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. (There may be meetings after the shift; candidate will be compensated.) Training:

Depends on experience. Roughly 4 to 6 weeks learning client systems. The expectation is proficiency after training (not an expert). Job Description

The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards. Job Responsibilities

Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application. Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. Address module issues end of line. Handle supplier quality issues. Issue SPPS. Issue PRTS. Maintain module supplier quality sheet. Work with DVT coordinator on software issues. Address all end of line module and software failures. Enter defect losses into GSIP. Skills

Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports. Experience with CAD and other computer applications in engineering fields. Vehicle software understanding; knowledge of how software interacts with schematics is a plus. VSPY knowledge is bonus. Qualifications

High School Diploma required; technical degree in electrical engineering is a plus. 3 to 5 years of automotive experience or supplier experience; familiarity with electrical work and automotive roles. Electrical background: electrical schematics and how software works with schematics. Proficient with Excel and formulas; ability to look up specs and perform math. Experience with vehicle software; VSPY is a bonus. Additional Notes

Familiarity with VSPY is a bonus. An electrical degree is a plus. Seniority level
