Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
for a 13‑week assignment in Elkhart, Indiana.
The start date is November 10, 2025.
This is a full‑time position with a 40‑hour week, 8‑hour day shifts, and competitive pay.
Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing will provide a comprehensive pay package that includes tax‑free stipends, weekly pay, and immediate benefits coverage.
You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity Interventional Radiology (IR) laboratory using fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging.
Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound equipment to guide procedures.
Assist physicians in sterile procedures by scrubbing in, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
Administer and monitor contrast media and manage adverse reactions.
Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for readiness.
Restock procedural supplies including catheters, guidewires, and contrast agents.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless care.
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA/ARC).
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Indiana.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
Any additional certifications or licenses that may be required for the position.
