We are seeking a
Controls Technician
to support, maintain, and improve our plant\'s automation and electrical systems. This role provides hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and control system improvements for production and utility equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial automation, mechatronics, and thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Configure, troubleshoot, and support variety of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, instrumentation, and industrial network devices. Perform preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis on production equipment, automation systems, robotic cells, building automation systems (BAS), and plant utility equipment. Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of production equipment. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and safety. Support and maintain plant SCADA, recipe control, and data collection systems. Create control narratives and machine procedures, maintain accurate schematics and other technical documentation, and keep records of work performed. Qualifications
Associate degree or certification in Electrical/Controls or related technical field. Combination of education and/or related experience considered in lieu of degree. Experience working with Allen-Bradley hardware and software. IDEs such as Logix Designer Suite and FactoryTalk View. Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 in other environments also acceptable. 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, Controls Technician, or similar role.
