Job Summary We are looking for a skilled
Diesel Mechanic
to join our repair shop.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will assist our foreman by diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles performance and function.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe repair shop environment. The ideal candidate is skilled in various diagnostics platforms, a good communicator, works well with others, & although knowledgeable willing to continue to learn.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicles entering the shop
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
Diagnose and repair medium- to heavy-duty trucks and equipment from various manufacturers (Mack, Hino, Peterbilt, International, Kenworth, Volvo, Freightliner, Isuzu, Cummins, etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Conduct in-depth inspections of all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive work environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in diesel repair or at a dealership.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
