Job Details
Vonachen Group is looking to hire a Maintenance Specialist in Menominee, MI. The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the grounds, exterior areas, and equipment of the property to ensure a clean, safe, and well-kept environment for employees, visitors, and customers. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining lawn care and snow removal equipment, completing basic facility repairs, and supporting day-to-day maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and has a working knowledge of power tools, landscaping equipment, and seasonal property upkeep.
Responsibilities
Perform grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and seasonal landscaping. Operate and maintain lawn care and snow removal equipment, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and snow blowers/plows. Conduct minor facility repairs including light carpentry, painting, and general upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas. Maintain and organize supply inventory, including replenishing stock and reporting low levels. Ensure a clean and safe environment, following company safety protocols and reporting hazards. Support coordination between the maintenance team, company leadership, and customer contacts. Repair floor equipment such as vacuums and floor machines (auto scrubbers etc). Assist with basic warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Positive attitude with strong customer service and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required Valid Drivers License and able to pass MVR Experience with groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance preferred Familiarity with snow removal equipment is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
Part-Time Details
Part Time 1st Shift Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-2pm $17/hr 401(k) eligible Now offering daily pay
