Assist Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, and Vascular Surgeons in cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology/endovascular procedures. Perform duties as scrub and monitoring staff, provide radiation safety, patient and family education, and support nursing functions. Demonstrate competency in imaging, device‑based equipment, and Code STEMI and Code Stroke alerts. Essential Key Job Responsibilities

Operate c‑arm radiation equipment, provide radiation protection, and demonstrate competency for all procedural applications. Prepare sterile fields, function as scrub assist, and hemodynamic monitor. Knowledgeable regarding all current devices in cath lab/ir/endovascular inventory and procedures including PCI, PTCA, PTA, cerebral and visceral angiography, stent placement, line placements, dialysis access maintenance, pacemaker, and ICD implant. Rapid decision making, critical thinking, and clinical leadership; act as preceptor; respond quickly to STEMI, Stroke, respiratory and cardiac arrest. Provide patient/family education related to procedure and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Assist nursing staff in all aspects of patient care; report all deviations of standards to nurse leader. Maintain CPACS database. Demonstrate competency in arterial and venous sheath removal, hemostasis, and access site management. Demonstrate competency in EKG recognition and hemodynamics; alert cardiologists to changes from baseline. Provide peri‑procedure care and assist in pre‑ and post‑procedure care. Maintain readiness for rapid transport for emergent or salvage CABG or vascular surgery. Other duties as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Required Licensure and Certifications

MRAD: KY; RTR, RTBD, RTCT, RTCV, RTM, RTMR, RTN, RTQM, RTT, RTVI, RTVS. BLS‑CPR. ACLS within 90 days. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training
