Job Summary and Qualifications Responsible for overall clinical services to families in the Family Recovery Program in Hardin County, including children. Requires a combination of knowledge and skills: work with individuals with substance use disorder, implement cognitive behavioral therapies, use community resources, and serve as an appropriate role model. Compassion, respect, and ability to convey respect to target populations are critical. Must learn and apply agency, personnel, and program policies and procedures; understand current treatment modalities. Preference given to candidates who can train and supervise other clinical staff and interns.
What You Should Have for This Role Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in social work or a related field AND the accompanying certification (CSW, MFT, LCPA). Preference for a clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC). Preference for candidates who have completed a practicum working in behavioral health and substance use issues.
Responsibilities
Manage caseload and client needs
Work effectively with referral sources
Document services through current, complete records
Provide counseling on personal, family, financial, employment, behavioral, crisis, and substance abuse matters
Advise other staff on treatment matters and coordinate team treatment as appropriate
Discuss and review client progress
Participate in client review and weekly clinical supervision
Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate
Conduct group and individual sessions daily
Maintain billing requirements
Perform performance quality improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI committee
