New College of Florida New College of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track position in Psychology with expertise in neuroscience, starting August 2026. At NCF, neuroscience faculty support students concentrating in psychology, biopsychology, and neuroscience areas of study. We seek a scholar who will complement our existing college expertise in electrophysiology at molecular and cognitive levels, and invite applications from disciplines including, but not limited to: systems, behavioral and computational neuroscience, neuroethology, neuropsychology, neurolinguistics, or neuroendocrinology. NCF offers access to fNIRS and psychophysiology equipment, and a competitive startup package. The ideal candidate would teach an intermediate section of biopsychology, and offer introductory and advanced psychology seminars, and a laboratory course in their field. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Faculty members also provide academic advising, supervise independent student projects and tutorials, sponsor senior theses, and serve on baccalaureate committees. Professors are expected to maintain an active research program. We are particularly interested in candidates with a commitment to innovative undergraduate liberal arts teaching.
