LPN Licensed Practical Nurse (DAY SHIFT)
Join Masonicare as an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse (DAY SHIFT) and provide compassionate care in a serene assisted living and memory care setting. Applicants receive competitive hourly pay up to $37.00 / hr based on experience.
Base Pay Range $27.00 / hr – $37.00 / hr
Location & Shift Masonicare at Mystic – Mystic, CT Day Shift – 24 hrs/week / EOW
Role Overview Under the supervision of a SALSA, you will deliver nursing care for a select group of residents, supporting and restoring their health while collaborating on resident service plans.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collect data on residents’ age, needs and abilities and participate in regular care planning meetings.
Communicate and collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to meet resident needs.
Provide education, supervision, and counseling to residents and families on AL procedures and care needs.
Document accurate, pertinent, and comprehensive information in a timely manner in the client service record.
Conduct supervisory visits of care assistants, companions, and homemakers as required.
Participate in educational programs, in‑services, meetings, and workshops, using current literature to enhance professional skills.
Under supervision of SALSA/RN DESIGNEE and in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and outside agencies, oversee medication management, including ordering, storing, reconciling, and preparing medications for administration.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current LPN license and CPR certification.
Preferred: 1–2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
