The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Coordinator. The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients in order to organize care. Responsibilities

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I/II/III – Patient Services Sign On Bonus: $2,500 Location: Meyerland Department: Patient Services Job Type: Full Time Salary Range: $48,143 - $70,652 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.) Qualifications
Education Required: LVN I/II/III - Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program. Preferred: N/A Experience LVN I – 6 months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program. LVN II – 4-8 years in a clinical area. LVN III – 9+ years in a clinical area. License(s) Required: LVN I/II/III - Current and valid Texas LVN license Preferred: N/A Special Skills Required: LVN I/II/III - Able to use equipment and related supplies for the assigned clinical area. Computer experience. Preferred: Windows-based computer skills. EPIC experience. Other Required: LVN I/II/III - Current BCLS Preferred: N/A Working Environment
