BHSC is recruiting a licensed pediatric SLP to provide early intervention and preschool services through a fee‑for‑service model. Early Intervention Services
Children birth‑to‑5 years in homes, daycares, or schools 30‑minute individual EI/RSO sessions at $39.50 each Potential earnings: 45 sessions per week ≈ $1,777 weekly pre‑tax (≈ $92,430 yearly before taxes) What We Offer

Evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for young children with communication disorders Implementation of an appropriate Speech‑Language Pathology treatment program Collaboration with teachers, OTs, PTs, audiologists, supervisors, and other professionals Submittal of written reports (evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, discharge reports) Maintenance of paperwork within legal and agency guidelines Referral to other services as needed Regular communication with family/client Professional judgment, continued learning through continuing education and staff training Maintenance of SLP licensure and TSSLD certification Supervision of CFY students per agency policy Skills
Assert behavioral competence for SLPs Influence a team toward common goals Effective verbal and written communication Required Education
Master’s degree from an accredited speech‑language pathology program. Required Licensure
New York State licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Initial or Professional certificate, or TSHH Permanent certificate Physical Requirements
Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, squatting, reaching, crawling, running, and floor sitting with pediatric patients Vision, speech, tactile, and hearing senses adequate for job requirements
