Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients.
As a Locum MD or DO in Radiology, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic imaging procedures to interpreting results and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:
Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
Collaborating with other healthcare providers to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and patient records.
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure risks.
Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and results in a clear and empathetic manner.
Staying current with advancements in radiological technology and practices.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
Providing guidance and supervision to radiology technicians and support staff.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Radiology or eligible for certification.
Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
Demonstrated experience in interpreting a variety of radiological imaging studies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
Shift Information: Swing, 11:00a-8:00p
Schedule: Monday-Friday
No holiday or weekend coverage
Read all emergent cases for ED, IP, and then help with OP cases
Average Daily Volume: 60-80
EMR: Meditech
PACS: Fuji Synapse
Dictation: RadAI
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
