Mobile Radiologic Technologist, Driving

(“Mobile RT”) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of our patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients, including performing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Mobile RT Driving will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. As patient care needs arise requiring X-ray, the Mobile RT Driving travels to the respective site. The traveling nature of this role requires the Mobile RT Driving to be flexible and responsive to the needs of patients and the organization. The Mobile RT Driving will be exposed to a variety of urgent care settings, maximizing the quantity of X-Rays performed. Travel within the region includes by car, and will require the Mobile RT Driving, as a condition of employment, to have access to a vehicle, a valid State driver’s license, and to pass an MVR background check. Key Responsibilities

Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use. Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services. Assist patients in mobility (e.g., pushing patients in a wheelchair). Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform preventive maintenance; and submit repair tickets as needed. Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to patient and organizational needs due to travel. Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred Education

High School Diploma (required) Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required) Certifications (Required At Time Of Hire)

Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required Valid State Driver’s License Must pass MVR background check Experience
