Service Line: Baptist Emergency Surgery Trauma Team (BEST) Shift Schedule: Full time, 3-12 hour shifts per week, Nights, Weekends, Holidays Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Winston-Salem, NC What We Offer

Provides patient-centered nursing care, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assumes a leadership role by guiding fellow team members and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver age-specific and developmentally tailored care in line with nursing standards. What You’ll Need
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Current RN licensure in North Carolina Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required CNOR preferred Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room within five years What You’ll Do
Job requirements include, but are not limited to: Deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, addressing diverse physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs in alignment with WFBH policies Establish and maintain a secure, therapeutic environment, safeguarding patient privacy and promoting safety through use of technology and equipment Demonstrate effective communication to facilitate information exchange across the care continuum Engage in professional practice, participate in shared governance, adhere to care standards, contribute to peer review, and pursue leadership and clinical development Advocate for patients across all care settings Coordinate delivery of care, identify clinical priorities, and initiate actions to improve patient outcomes Participate in a professional practice model and foster a healthy work environment with accountability for growth The Ideal Candidate Will Have
