Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and helper—ready to address the whole patient, adapt to individual needs, collaborate with peers, and refer patients for additional care as required. Your focus is on ensuring patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.

Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
