Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Daily Work Expectations (8-hour shift)

Patient Volume: 90–100 wRVUs (Work Relative Value Units): 60–70 Equipment Used: X-Ray (XR), MRI (MR), Nuclear Medicine (NM), CT Scan (CT), Ultrasound (US), Fluoroscopy (Flouro)

Types of Cases We Handle Emergency Room (ER) Cases Musculoskeletal (MSK) Cases Neurology (Neuro) Cases Nuclear Medicine (Nuc Med) Cases Pediatric Cases (Children) Fluoroscopy Cases

Light Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedures

Biopsies: Taking samples from Thyroid, Lung, Bone, Liver, and Kidney (using CT or Ultrasound guidance)

Drainage Procedures: Removing fluid from the body, including:

Paracentesis (from the abdomen)

Thoracentesis (from the chest)

Abscess Drainages (infected areas)

Chest Tube (to drain air or fluid)

Cysts

Lumbar Punctures: Diagnostic Lumbar Puncture

Myelogram (spinal imaging)

Epidural (pain relief)

Arthrograms: Injecting joints (Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle)

Requirements for Applicants

Board Certification (official recognition of your skills)

Active Ohio License (to practice medicine)

DEA Registration (license to prescribe medication)

Clean malpractice history (no lawsuits against you)
