Therapist or Social Worker, Intake Therapist - $2,000 Hiring Bonus! Job Type: Full Time. Location: 2301 O Street, Lincoln, NE 68510. This role primarily conducts initial assessments with the option to maintain a caseload if desired. The position offers an option of a four-day work week and is in-person at the specified Lincoln, NE location. Responsibilities

The Therapist or Social Worker, Intake Therapist conducts person-centered, compassionate, comprehensive behavioral health assessments with individuals, couples, and families to enhance the quality and accessibility of services, strengthen internal and external referral pathways, and increase client engagement and satisfaction. Meet productivity standards and provide behavioral health assessments across locations for individuals, couples, and families. Assess client preferences, cultural and identity factors, strengths, support networks, symptomology, and functional impairments; tailor evaluations to co-occurring substance use disorders as appropriate. Assign behavioral health diagnoses as applicable; prescribe medically necessary treatment and services; coordinate internal and external referrals for client treatment and services. Develop and maintain knowledge of internal and external health and human service resources; maintain respectful working relationships with staff, external organizations, criminal justice systems, and other referral sources. Promote services through community contacts; maintain timely, legible digital records per program, agency, state, and COA standards; ensure services are recorded properly for billing. Participate in quality improvement activities including peer reviews; maintain confidentiality and security of all protected health information; participate in regular supervision sessions; provide continuous feedback for workflow and client engagement improvements. Adhere to credentialing requirements; complete continuing education for professional growth and licensure; attend staff meetings and training; perform other behavioral health duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate when appropriate, act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to learn and use technology for service delivery, documentation, and duties; adapt to organizational changes. Commitment to ethical decision-making and consultation with the clinical team; regular and predictable attendance; uphold the mission, vision, and values of Lutheran Family Services. Valid driver’s license, proof of liability auto insurance, and ability to drive for organization business. Position Competencies

Relationship Builder Critical Thinking Decision Making Written Communication Organizational Skills Education and Experience

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited college required. Independent licensure as a mental health practitioner (LIMHP) in the State of Nebraska required. Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and/or provisional or licensed drug & alcohol counselor (PLADC / LADC) preferred. Physical Requirements
