Overview
Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has provided quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We also have facilities throughout the Texoma region. Texoma Medical Center offers major specialty services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, and advanced resources such as certified trauma care to support its role as a regional specialty center. Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is the parent company.
The Radiology Tech performs a wide variety of radiographic procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatments by the attending physician.
Responsibilities The Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures as required to support patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiographic Technology.
Prefer six months previous experience performing all radiographic procedures in a hospital setting.
Current license by the State of Texas, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
Capable of making independent decisions, work under stress at times, and have good interpersonal skills.
