in Nursing, full-time, thirty-six-week appointment for fall and spring semesters with an August 2025 start date. Appointment type : Full-time; 36 weeks; term length will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term will depend on university need, performance, and availability of funding. Instructor qualifications : Master’s degree in Nursing and eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania. An earned Doctorate (e.g., DNP, PhD) within 5 years of hire is a condition of continued employment. Assistant Teaching Professor qualifications : Doctorate (e.g., DNP, PhD) and eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania. Candidates with a Doctorate will be given preference. Primary responsibilities : Coordination and instruction in adult medical-surgical nursing, including classroom, simulation lab, and clinical teaching. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include advising students, participating in committees, and other service and scholarly activities as appropriate. Additional qualifications : Successful applicants should show evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and mastery of medical-surgical subject matter; hold a valid nursing license; and be eligible for RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
