Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and evidence‑based care to patients admitted to the hospitalist service.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Cerner).

Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance measurement.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi‑state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date.

Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Education

Master’s degree of Nursing required.
