Overview
Physical Therapist (PT) PRN, Inpatient Rehabilitation role at Lifepoint Health. This position offers PRN scheduling with 2 weekend days a month and 1 holiday, base pay around $55 per hour. This role emphasizes delivering patient-centered inpatient rehabilitation services in collaboration with the care team. Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians. May orient staff and students and assume supervisor duties in the absence of the supervisor. Assess patients' needs; identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions; collaborate with other patient team members to maintain professional practice standards and interdisciplinary teamwork. Observe and evaluate treatment progress; monitor achievement of short- and long-term goals; recommend changes to the physician as needed. Perform initial assessments and periodic reassessments per policy; perform accurate and timely quality improvement scoring. Population served includes adults and geriatrics in an adult medical rehabilitation program. Assess pain impacting functional participation in rehabilitation; implement appropriate interventions to reduce pain and contact the physician for intervention as needed. What We Offer

Doctorate degree in physical therapy Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located Inpatient rehab experience preferred Current BLS/CPR certification About Us
