It is located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and is the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department. What we do: Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include: · Procedures: Pacemaker, ICD Defibrillator, leadless pacemaker, subcutaneous ICD, CRRT Device, Implantable loop recorder, and Cardioversion · EP Studes for Arrhythmias · Ablations: Atrial fibrillation and Ventricular Fibrillation ablation, Cryoballoon ablation, and Radiofrequency ablation · Treatments for Conditions: Arrhythmias, Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia, and Ventricular Fibrillation #crystalspringtower #cvi What We Require: Education:
RCV through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Graduate of Allied Health Profession School (RRT, RTT) with board registry/licensure required or Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the VA State Board of Medicine, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care or Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
Experience:
Interventional Radiology or critical care experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications/Registration:
Current RTT or RTR status. AHS BLS-HCP required. Required to obtain/maintain AHABLS based on specific work unit. Must successfully complete AHA ACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.
Other Minimum Qualifications:
